It is known that centrioles, together with pericentriolar materials, form the\u00a0<strong>centrosome<\/strong>, a structure that plays a key role in regulating cell division, movement, and signal transduction. It is also directly associated with the development and progression of tumors. Moreover, centrioles can serve as\u00a0<strong>basal bodies<\/strong>, responsible for the formation of primary cilia. Primary cilia act as important sensors for cells to perceive environmental signals.
